Stull

Harvests in early-mid July - stores all winter long and maybe into spring

Stull is a long storing Porcelain garlic with mild garlicky flavor and only a hint of pungency that grows well in most places.

Stull is a beautiful garlic that is unusual in that it is a very mild and mellow Porcelain and most Porcelains are strong. It is possible that my taste sample was an abberation from normal as growing conditions sometime cause a reversal of taste in all garlics but if what I tasted is normal then this is an excellent long storing Porcelain for those who love milder and mellower garlics and few Porcelains meet that criteria.

Stull was obtained from a NY farmers market and is very similar to German White in appearance, an excellent garlic, with whitish bulb wrappers and tight tan colored clove covers.

Stull will probably be one of the taller garlics in your garden and grows well in most of the USA except the warmest winter areas of the country.
